These Macaws have a bold blue body and dark lemon-yellow not their chests, a green strip of feathers just above its black beak, and a black feathers just below its beak.

Diet:  Lafeber’s Macaw & Cockatoo Nutri-Berries (80 % of a daily diet), and a variety of fresh fruit, veggies and protein daily.

Life span: 70 years

Size: about 34 inches in length and weighs about 2.3 pounds

Behavior: These macaws are large birds and can be extremely loud and vocal.

Care: A macaw or double macaw cage is recommended. The standard macaw cage size recommended is 60 inches in height x 48 width x  36 depth. These cages should have “bar” spaces that are between 1-1.5  inches to allow for large beaks.
